Hi! I’m Lisa Romee, the founder of UNWIND Jewelry
Our mission from the very beginning has been to create and design jewelry that is both affordable and, crucially, durable. UNWIND started at the market, and we recently hit a major milestone: on February 1st, we opened our first store in the Negen Straatjes!
We’re now looking for an enthusiastic team member to join us one day a week, mainly for Sunday markets, and occasionally to support in the store.
About the Role
Do you enjoy connecting with people and offering a warm, memorable shopping experience? In this role, you’ll work on Sundays at various markets across Amsterdam, helping to set up the stall, assist customers, and bring the vibrant market energy to UNWIND Jewelry.
Do you know the iconic Museumplein market? Or the lively Sunday market in the beautiful Westerpark? And let’s not forget the charming market surrounded by old buildings near Rokin. These are just a few of the stunning locations where you might be representing UNWIND. Your day starts at our beautiful store in the Negen Straatjes, where you’ll load up a cargo bike full of jewelry and ride to the market location of the day. It’s a job full of freedom, one you truly won’t find anywhere else.
You’ll need to be confident, responsible, and able to handle things independently, this role gives you a lot of trust and space, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that kind of setting. Some weeks, your shift might include working in our store instead, helping customers, organizing stock, and supporting smooth daily operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Work on Sundays at local markets (10:00 – 19:00)
- Occasionally work in our store in the Negen Straatjes
- Set up and style the market stall
- Assist customers in choosing jewelry at both the market and in-store
- Handle payments and offer outstanding service
- Keep the store clean and organized
- Share the story of UNWIND Jewelry with enthusiasm
- Jump in for extra shifts when teammates are on holiday
What We’re Looking For:
- You’re available 1 day a week, mostly on Sundays
- You have a friendly and open personality, and a love for jewelry
- You’re independent, proactive, and reliable
- You’re flexible and happy to help out when needed
- Sales or retail experience is a plus, but passion and a willingness to learn are even more important!
