The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) Foundation is the leading business platform for the electronic music industry and the world’s largest club festival for electronic music and dance culture. With over 300 venues, 3.200 performing acts, and approximately 600.000 visits from music lovers and professionals worldwide, Amsterdam becomes the global hub for electronic music for five days.
The Internship:
Are you a student with an affinity for communication and the latest trends? Do you get excited about marketing campaigns and enjoy brainstorming creative ways to get others excited too? Do you want to learn more about how to utilize various existing and new marketing and/or social media channels to promote the ADE program? Then we are looking for you!
ADE is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern for the Marketing & Communication department.
You:
- Have an affinity for electronic dance culture and its industry.
- Are familiar with trends and developments within social media and are eager to translate these into creative content, such as coming up with post ideas, creating and editing videos, and writing compelling social media copy;
- Are punctual and well-organized, able to maintain an overview in busy times;
- Are able to be flexible and creative in finding solutions;
- Are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program or higher;
- Have good knowledge of social media platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn);
- Have an interest in digital marketing and affinity with online communication, content, and social media. You are curious about email marketing and able to pick up digital tools quickly;
- Have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing (in Dutch and English);
- Are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Premiere) and are willing to further develop these skills.
Please note: Availability from May/June to November 2026 is required, including during the summer vacation. Exact start and end dates to be determined in consultation.
