ABOUT US
The Creative Lab is a platform dedicated to supporting emerging creative businesses and the talented creators behind them. Four times a year, we organize Amsterdam’s biggest curated pop-up, where 40 young, upcoming creators sell their unique handmade & vintage fashion, jewelry, ceramics, interior & art.
In addition to our pop-up markets, we host smaller creative events, hands-on masterclasses, fashion shows and pop-up stores — all designed to strengthen our creative community and spotlight the next generation of creative talent!
Our mission is to create a space where young and upcoming brands are uplifted, unique and sustainable shopping is encouraged, where we connect creators to each other and their audience, and most importantly where creativity is celebrated!
GENERAL INFORMATION
You’ll become part of a small, young, and passionate team, working directly with founders Marijn (28) & Roos (26), alongside one other intern.

EVENT PRODUCTION, COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL-MEDIA INTERN
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the execution of our pop-up markets, events, and webshop operations
- Contributing to creative direction and developing content concepts
- Managing TCL’s Instagram, TikTok, and Substack, including planning, scheduling, and publishing content
- Creating visual content (photos, short videos, behind-the-scenes, event promotion) in line with the brand aesthetic
- Coordinating the creator application process and maintaining the creator database
- Writing creator announcements, written text for the webshop and other written content
- Being present on-site to help out during our events
- Assisting with general day-to-day operational tasks across the team
EVENT PRODUCTION, COMMUNICATION & SOCIAL-MEDIA INTERN
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
- Is passionate about (supporting) creative and sustainable brands
- Is curious about the organization and promotion of creative events and webshops
- Has a strong eye for aesthetics, visual storytelling and social media trends
- Knows how to make engaging & aesthetic reels
- Knows whats-up on the socials and is trend-aware
- Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
- Enjoys (copy-)writing and feels confident creating clear, engaging, and on-brand content
- Is proactive, hands-on, and takes initiative in a small team environment
- Loves making
- Is organised and enjoys bringing structure to creative projects
- Ideally has experience with social media management, event production, or related fields
- Experience with Canva, Figma, or CapCut Pro is a plus
But mostly someone who brings creative ideas and is eager to learn and grow!

- Days: 2 days per week (occasionally 3)
- Language: English or Dutch
- Compensation: Internship fee
