About the role
This is an exciting moment to join us. Impact Hub and CRCL Park have just settled into our new home at the Marineterrein: an innovation district in the heart of Amsterdam. Together with our partners, such as AMS Institute, DOEN Foundation, IKEA SE and City of Amsterdam, we are working towards a circular and regenerative future for the city and beyond.
As our Event & Office Support Manager, you help make this environment a vibrant place where ideas grow into real-world change, from daily workspace operations to dynamic events. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization, including our Marketing & Communications, Programs and Innovation Experts. You will be part of a driven and international team where entrepreneurial thinking, ownership and fresh ideas are the norm.
A key part of your role is ensuring that both our workspaces and event venues feel welcoming, inclusive and accessible for everyone who walks through the door; from entrepreneurs and partners to local communities.
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for workspace and event inquiries (email and on-site)
- Coordinating event bookings (incl. invoicing) and managing the shared event calendar
- Preparing and closing event spaces (setup, materials, A/V support coordination)
- Welcoming guests, event partners and suppliers on-site
- Supporting close collaboration with AMS Institute for CRCL PARK events
- Supporting colleagues from Marketing, Programs and Innovation in delivering impactful events
- Ensuring our spaces are accessible, functional and inspiring for all
- Overseeing office logistics and workspace maintenance
- Managing event supplies and coordinating F&B support
This role requires being present on-site and working occasional evenings depending on event schedules.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in event support, office management, hospitality, or facilities coordination
- A proactive, organised and service-oriented mindset
- Hands-on and comfortable with physical tasks when preparing spaces
- Able to manage multiple activities and priorities at once
- Strong communication skills (Dutch and English) and comfortable interacting with diverse groups
- Skilled in using digital tools such as Google Workspace and booking systems
- Affinity with social and sustainable entrepreneurship is a (big!) plus
- Living in the Amsterdam area (or able to commute easily)
- Availability: 24-32 hours per week.
