Voor de afdeling Company Management is Nederlands Dans Theater op zoek naar een: Company Manager (m/v/x) 100% dienstverband (38 uur per week).

Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) behoort tot de absolute top van de hedendaagse dansgezelschappen wereldwijd. Met twee gezelschappen en in totaal 48 dansers reist NDT de hele wereld over. Achter de schermen werkt een bevlogen team van circa 70 professionals dagelijks aan onvergetelijke voorstellingen. Van medische begeleiding en licht- en geluidsontwerp, kostuums, marketing tot educatieve programma’s: alles draait om kwaliteit — en om mensen.

Voor onze afdeling Company Management zoeken wij een georganiseerde en zelfstandige collega die het team komt versterken.

Wat ga je doen?

Company Management is verantwoordelijk voor het plannen, organiseren en begeleiden van de nationale en internationale tours. Als Company Manager fungeer je als aanspreekpunt voor de dansers, de artistieke staf, bezoekende artistieke teams en externe relaties. Daarnaast werk je nauw samen met de verschillende afdelingen (o.a. Productie, Techniek, Kostuumatelier, Talentontwikkeling & Educatie, Marketing, Communicatie & Development).

• Je houdt je bezig met het voorbereiden, praktisch uitvoeren en begeleiden van de productieperiodes richting premières.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie, organisatie, logistiek en begeleiding van binnenlandse voorstellingen en internationale tournees.
• Je neemt de logistieke coördinatie voor het creatieve team op je en fungeert als host tijdens het creatie- en/of repetitieproces.
• Je assisteert praktisch bij de algehele organisatie van de jaarlijkse auditie.
• Daarnaast biedt je ondersteuning bij roostering en planning en horen administratieve werkzaamheden ook tot je veelzijdige takenpakket.

Wie ben jij?

Naast liefde voor cultuur en oog voor detail, herken jij jezelf in het volgende:

• Je hebt een HBO werk- en denkniveau
• Je hebt minimaal 1-3 jaar ervaring met organisatorische, productionele en logistieke begeleiding van groepen, bij voorkeur tijdens internationale tournees.
• Je beheerst zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal goed, in woord en geschrift. Andere talen is een pré.
• Je bent flexibel, zowel in aanpassingsvermogen als in werktijden.
• Je bent creatief en kunt omgaan met onverwachte omstandigheden.
• Je hebt een sterk probleemoplossend vermogen en bent stressbestending.
• Je hebt uitstekende organisatorische vaardigheden en bent communicatief sterk.
• Je hebt een BHV certificaat of EHBO diploma of bent bereid hiervoor een cursus te volgen.
• Je bent bij voorkeur woonachtig in Den Haag en bereid (internationaal) te reizen.
• Algemene kennis van de internationale hedendaagse danssector en interesse in hedendaagse dans is een pre.

For our Company Management department, we are looking for an organised and independent colleague to join the team.

What You’ll Do?

Company Management is responsible for planning, organising and supervising national and international tours. As Company Manager, you act as the point of contact for the dancers, the artistic staff, visiting artistic teams and external partners. In addition, you will work closely with the various departments (including Production, Technical, Costume Workshop, Talent Development & Education, Marketing, Communications & Development).

• You will be involved in the preparation, practical execution and supervision of production periods leading up to premieres.
• You will be responsible for the coordination, organisation, logistics and supervision of domestic performances and international tours.
• You will take charge of the logistical coordination for the creative team and act as host during the creation and/or rehearsal process.
• You will provide practical assistance with the overall organisation of the annual auditions.
• In addition, you will offer support with scheduling and planning, and administrative tasks will also form part of your varied role.

Who Are You?

As well as a passion for culture and an eye for detail, you will recognise yourself in the following:

• You have a higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking
• You have at least 1–3 years’ experience in the organisational, production and logistical management of groups, preferably during international tours.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• You are flexible, both in terms of adaptability and working hours.
• You are creative and can cope with unexpected circumstances.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and are able to work under pressure.
• You have excellent organisational skills and are a strong communicator.
• You hold a first-aid certificate or are willing to undertake a course to obtain one.
• You are preferably based in The Hague and willing to travel (internationally).
• General knowledge of the international contemporary dance sector and an interest in contemporary dance are an advantage.
